The Ship Inn is situated in the quiet village of Greenodd which is on the edge of the Lake District National Park. We are convenient for the A590 which is the main road for travelling to either Barrow-in-Furness or Kendal. We are surrounded by country walks, cycle ways and stunning lakeland views.
After a day out in the glorious Lakeland country side why not relax by one of our log fires with one of our excellent real ales, brewed from our onsite brewery.
Opening times for the pub:
Wednesday 5.00pm to 11.00pm
Thursday 5.00pm to 11.00pm
Friday 5.00pm to 11.00pm
Saturday 2.00pm to 11.00pm
Sunday 2.00pm to 10.30pm
It is with deep regret that we have to announce that we will no longer be serving food at The Ship Inn.
This decision has not been made lightly, as we know from our reviews that the food our talented chef Gaz has produced has been of a high standard, supporting local produce in order to achieve both quality and value!
However this has not been sustainable.
We would like to thank those of you who have supported us along the way and especially to Gaz for all his hard work and commitment!
We will however still be open to serve our own Greenodd Brewery real ales and hope you will visit us soon!
We are a dog friendly pub. We welcome well behaved dogs in the bar area and on a lead.

We are proud to once again to be included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2020
Greenodd Brewery has been brewing its own beers since 2010.
We are a small village pub with its own onsite brewery, brewing our own selection of real ales since 2010
No matter what your favorite brew is, we have something that will make you happy!
